Yosso Presents SMAGAYOCO CUP
The SADC MAIN GATE YOUTH COMPETITION (SMAGAYOCO) is an initiative designed to unlock opportunities for young people in the Songwe region, not only in sports but also in various development fields.
The SMAGAYOCO concept aligns with the Southern African Development Community’s (SADC) vision for youth development, which emphasizes strengthening platforms for SADC youth and enhancing the SADC Youth Convention to amplify the voices of young people in regional cooperation.

Who we are
We are a leading soccer academy in Songwe, Tanzania. Since our inception, we’ve grown from 25 young talents to a thriving community of over 180 youth. Our commitment to nurturing soccer skills and character development drives our success. As we continue to expand and achieve new milestones, our mission remains the same: empowering tomorrow’s soccer stars and advancing Tanzania’s youths.

We actively cooperate with soccer academies both in Tanzania and internationally. Our founder sponsor being from the US, plays a key role in shaping Yosso Soccer Centre to fit in the international market.

A strong emphasis on education for players
Players balance their sporting pursuits with education. We provide academic support and guidance to ensure our players achieve success both on and off the field. We offer incentives for players to do well in school.
Our achievements so far
Yosso soccer center has established itself as one of the reputable soccer academies in Songwe region and Tanzania in general. From 25 youth when the center started to over 180 youth at present. The center keeps expanding and achieve milestones.

Our teams
YSC Team A (U17 to U23)
Team A features skilled players aged 17 to 23, focusing on advanced technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical strength. Competing in leagues and tournaments, they challenge senior players, often reaching quarterfinals and semifinals.
YSC Team B (U14 to U16)
Team B develops players aged 14 to 16, focusing on individual skills, basic tactics, and discipline. They play friendly games, school competitions, and tournaments, preparing for promotion to Team A.
YSC Team C (U12 to U14)
Team C trains players aged 12 to 14 in ball control, basic tactics, and agility. They play friendly matches and tournaments, aiming to grow and join Team B.
YSC Team D (U10 to U12)
Team D nurtures players aged 10 to 12, teaching basic skills, teamwork, and fair play. Engaging activities keep them motivated when matches are unavailable.
